In general the prices for research to find Swedish ancestors are related to the nature of the services. The more information you can give about your ancestor the easier the better the services delivered. If we can not ensure any result we will not accept any service.

The rate for research services is 40 USD per hour.

Fixed prices

We offer fixed prices for a family tree.

The family tree is delivered as

– a pdf file with a family tree,

– an additional pdf file with information about each person (notes), and

– a gedcom file for import into any genealogy program

Fixed prices we offer if the ancestor from Sweden is known by name and birthplace in Sweden and born after 1880:

2 generations (7 people): 50 USD
3 generations (15 people): 150 USD
4 generations (31 people): 300 USD
5 generations (63 people): 6 00 USD

USD 5 is deducted from the price above for each person in a generation where available information is completely lacking.

You order in three steps:

Step 1: Make a free enquiry using the contact form below, about research on the ancestry of a named person born between 1900 and 1950. Tell them as much as possible about what you know about the person’s date of birth and place of birth.

– Answers are submitted by email within a week, after checking that it is possible to follow the ancestry in the sources.

Step 2: Place an order for genealogy 2-5 generations by replying to the email and paying 10% in advance (PayPal, Visa or Mastercard).

– The result is submitted by email within 4 weeks (family tree, notes and gedcom file), together with an invoice.

Step 3: Pay the remaining 90% with a deduction of SEK 50 for each invoice that could not be found according to the invoice information.
